Mispa is a Pan-African legal and development expert, humanitarian leader, Philanthropist and seasoned public speaker devoted to fostering peace, justice, inclusive governance, Dispute Resolution and Arbitration, and environmental sustainability with the use of technology across Africa and beyond. Mispa is a sound arbitrator with Kigali International Arbitration Centre with well exposed knowledge and skills representing clients in Trade & Commercial, Investment-Natural Resource, ESG matters both domestic and international.

As Founder of the AWASUM Institute, Mispa brings a wealth of experience both nationally and internationally to lead a mission-driven think-and-do tank, a dynamic made-to-order hub dedicated to transforming Africa through the rule of law, dispute resolution, technological innovations, leadership, gender equity, strategy and advisory and green development.
Mispa blend legal precision with human-centered leadership. From grassroots peacebuilding in conflict zones to policy influence at national and international institutions and have managed high budget impact projects. She strategically designs and implement evidence-based solutions that promotes peace, harmony, inclusion, and development.

Mispa is a multilingual speaker and award-winning human rights and Democracy advocate from the Senate of Maryland. Her journey has been endorsed by global institutions including the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), UN Women, the Senate of Maryland (USA), and Global Peace Chain business management and conflict resolution series held at Selwyn College Cambridge UK 2024. Mispa is committed to helping Africa rise by empowering women, mentoring youth, resolving disputes, and restoring peace with purpose through thought leadership, safe and green environment. 
Mispa currently serves as the Manager of Ciarb Rwanda Branch, where she leads national training initiatives, stakeholder’s engagements, capacity building, advocacy for alternative dispute resolution across East Africa.
